Ammon – The sales of the Jordanian Poultry Processing and Marketing Public Shareholding Company in the first half of this year exceeded 24 million dinars, while in the second quarter it amounted to twelve million and 356 thousand dinars, while the total profits amounted to one million and 841 thousand dinars before expenses, to achieve a net profit of about 620 thousand JD to offset part of the loss of the first quarter.
An informed source stated that the results of the second quarter were good despite the challenges that surrounded poultry farming in general during the spring season, which affected the productivity and conversion efficiency of producers during that period.
The source expected the company to maintain an upward trend during the third quarter, as the company raised slaughter quantities and production efficiency. It is expected that the sales volume will increase during this period, expecting that the results of the third quarter will exceed the results of the second quarter, and that the company will come close to amortizing the losses of the first quarter.
The source also added that the company has recently completed the necessary licenses to raise the slaughter capacity in the slaughterhouse, noting that the infrastructure is equipped to create additional expansions in the production capacity.
