The Deputy Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Eng. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, visited the Neighborhood Centers Association in Makkah Al-Mukarramah at the headquarters of the Al-Safa neighborhood model center in Jeddah, to see the experience of the model centers in the association.
Al-Budair toured the center’s facilities to get acquainted with the most important programs and initiatives presented, then held a dialogue session with the officials of the association, where he was received by the CEO of the association, Dr.
The association gave a presentation on the most important programs and initiatives of the center, and its experience in establishing model centers, pointing to the support and interest it receives from the Chairman of its Board of Directors, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, and the follow-up of his deputy, Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, stressing that this support and encouragement represents an incentive for the association in order to provide more improvement and continuous development to achieve the strategic goals of the association and enhance belonging to the leadership and the homeland and cultivate values and develop the person and the place.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing praised the activities and programs of the Al-Safa Model Center in Jeddah, expressing the importance of having model neighborhood centers that serve young men, girls and families within the neighborhoods, in order to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The Association of Neighborhood Centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah is concerned with the development of people and places through specialized social centers to improve the quality of life. In achieving its goals, it relies on establishing integrated headquarters in neighborhoods that serve as high-level social, sports and cultural centers. It also aims to spread sound awareness and virtuous morals, develop communication values, contribute to family building and reduce social problems.
