The General Authority for Supply Commodities at the Ministry of Supply announced a practice to supply 50,000 tons of raw cane sugar from any origin, or 50,000 tons of imported refined packaged white sugar from any origin, suitable for human consumption, for the benefit of the Holding Company for Food Industries, represented by the Sugar and Integrated Industries Company, and for a period Arrival from January 1 to January 15, 2024, or from January 16 to 30, 2024, or from February 1 to 15, 2024, if desired by the seller, provided that technical and financial offers must be submitted on November 25, 2023.
The Ministry of Supply said the remaining conditions are in accordance with the specifications and conditions booklet for raw sugar and white sugar, which can be obtained from the headquarters of the General Authority for Supply Commodities in the government district of the Administrative Capital in the Ministry of Supply building.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade pumps food commodities into the outlets of consumer complexes in large quantities to meet the needs of citizens, and offers products at reduced prices of 20 to 25% while continuing to implement the initiative to reduce basic commodity prices.
