Moscow: Washington continues to violate the “START” nuclear weapons treaty
The Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, said that the United States has been continuing for a long time to violate the “START” nuclear strategic offensive weapons treaty between Moscow and Washington.
He added that the White House rejected and adhered to the provisions stipulated in the treaty, which determine the number of nuclear weapons, and stressed that the United States had consistently ignored Russia’s demands to solve this problem.
He added that one of the most important factors that led to the current crisis over the treaty was the “hybrid war” waged by the US administration against Russia through the Kiev regime, with the aim of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.
