Russia shot down a Ukrainian helicopter in the Kherson region
On the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region, the Russian Air Defense Forces shot down a Ukrainian helicopter.
A spokesman for the Russian emergency services said, in a statement reported by the Russian news agency TASS, on Tuesday: “Russian air defense units shot down a Mi-24 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Mikhailovka on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.”
According to previous reports, in the past 24 hours Russian forces destroyed two boats carrying ten Ukrainian soldiers near the Proseretsky and Damansky islands, as well as the German-made IRIS-T multiple launch missile system.
Russian forces also intercepted two Ukrainian 129-mm mortar shells near the settlement of Sadovoy in the Kherson region, and two positions of Ukrainian forces near the villages of Zmievka and Mikhailovka in the Kakhovka region.
