Saudi Arabia agrees to a memorandum of understanding with Egypt in electricity and renewable energy
The Saudi Cabinet approved a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom (represented by the Ministry of Energy) and the government of Egypt (represented by the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy) for cooperation in the fields of electricity, renewable energy and clean hydrogen.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Acting Saudi Minister of Information, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that this came during the council session today, Tuesday, at the Peace Palace in Jeddah, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Council also agreed to authorize a number of ministers to discuss with their counterparts from other countries regarding memorandums of understanding in several fields, in addition to approving memorandums of understanding with a number of countries.
