The Ministry of Industry: 4.7 billion pounds were spent for exporting companies within the second tranche of the sixth phase of the immediate payment initiative
Engineer Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, announced that the Export Development Fund issued certificates for the second tranche of the sixth phase of the immediate payment initiative, with a total support of 4.7 billion pounds and a net support of 3.8 billion pounds, within the framework of implementing the initiative in cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Finance.
Dr. Amani Al-Wasal, Executive Director of the Export Development Fund, said that the number of companies applying for the initiative in the second tranche amounted to 1,193 companies distributed over various export sectors.
Al-Wessal added that the net support, after deducting all deductions and indebtedness, amounted to 3.8 billion pounds for 772 beneficiary companies, noting that the number of companies whose debts exceeded their dues amounted to 105 companies, with a total support of 400 million pounds. The number of companies deferred to review their debts with the various authorities reached 115 companies, with a total support of 316 million pounds.
