The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls for effective international intervention to stop the occupation’s incursions
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to quickly intervene to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression, and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people in general and for Jerusalem and its sanctities, and Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular..
In a press statement, today, Thursday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the storming of the city of Nablus by the occupation forces and settlers, which resulted in the death of Badr al-Masri, 19, and the injury of dozens of citizens.
It also condemned settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and religious, archaeological and historical sites and shrines in the West Bank, demolitions and delivery of notices to demolish Palestinian homes and facilities committed by the occupation forces in areas classified as “C”.
The Foreign Ministry held the Israeli government fully responsible for these violations and crimes, and warned of their dangers on the conflict arena, and demanded serious international positions to compel the occupying state to stop all its unilateral measures.
She affirmed that these violations and crimes fall within a colonial and expansionist scheme that undermines any opportunity to embody the State of Palestine on the ground, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
