The Ministry of Finance has postponed the date for starting the payment of salaries for the month of July 2023 for workers in the state’s administrative apparatus by one day, to postpone it to the day after tomorrow, Monday, instead of tomorrow, Sunday.
This comes after Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, decided that tomorrow, Sunday, would be a holiday on the occasion of the anniversary of the July 23 revolution.
And the Ministry of Finance had expected, when setting the dates for the payment of salaries for the current month of July, that the holiday for the anniversary of the July Revolution would be added to the weekend to be next Thursday, which did not happen, as the Council of Ministers preferred that it be Sunday to provide a long vacation with the disruption of work last Thursday on the occasion of the Hijri New Year.
July 2023 salary disbursement dates
It is scheduled that the Ministry of Finance will pay the salaries of the current month of July to workers in the state’s administrative apparatus, starting from Monday, July 24, and for a period of 5 days, which also includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, July 25, 26, 27, and 30.
The Ministry of Finance had announced, in a previous statement last month, the dates for paying salaries for the months of July, August and September.
