United Nations Humanitarian Aid Coordinator Martin Griffiths said that the organization hopes to send a second convoy of trucks to Gaza on Sunday under a simplified inspection system that will allow for increased relief aid deliveries this week.
The first convoy of 20 trucks arrived in Gaza via the Rafah crossing with Egypt yesterday, Saturday, but Israeli demands to verify aid hamper efforts to deliver supplies to the besieged Strip.
