US State Department: If the Rafah crossing is opened, we will try to expel the Americans from Gaza

The US State Department said, Thursday evening, that if the Rafah crossing is opened, we will try to remove the Americans from Gaza.

The US State Department added that envoy David Satterfield met with Israeli and Egyptian officials today to develop a specific mechanism for bringing aid into Gaza.

She continued: “We expect to be able to bring in humanitarian aid and we want to see a continuous entry of aid into Gaza,” adding: “We are closely monitoring to ensure that Hamas does not benefit from any aid entering Gaza.”
