The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development continues its efforts to support and train national cadres in partnership with the private sector. During the first half of this year, the National Training Campaign (Waad) initiative exceeded the number of training opportunities, which reached more than 193,000, while the target of the campaign was 192. A thousand training opportunities. While the final goals of “Wa’ad” by the end of 2025 look forward to providing 1,155,000 training opportunities through cooperation with 14 national companies.
Through this initiative, the Ministry is keen to improve the labor market by supporting, qualifying and training national cadres, setting 7 criteria for the participation of national companies in “Waad”, the most important of which is training 12% of Saudis annually.
