Zarqa Trade organizes a workshop to discuss sales and liquidation instructions

Ammon – The Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply / Promotion Department in the Market Control Directorate, organized today, Wednesday, an awareness workshop for the commercial sector to discuss “Instructions for sales, special offers, liquidation and award presentation”.
The head of the Promotion and Awards Department at the Ministry, Ibrahim Abu Assaf, gave an explanation of the conditions regulating offers, sales, liquidation and award presentation, in addition to the legal procedures that must be taken in the event of liquidation emanating from the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the Companies Control Department.
And Abu Assaf indicated that there are entities excluded from registration in the ministry, which are banks, the General Union of Charitable Societies, charitable associations and organizations, and radio and television stations.
The Vice President of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, Eng. Jihad Al-Maraira, referred to the Chamber’s role in achieving partnership between the public and private sectors and its keenness to educate its members to adhere to the regulations and instructions issued by the Ministry to avoid violations, in addition to discussing the most important obstacles facing the commercial sector in Zarqa.
The workshop was attended by the representative of the health sector in the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Tayseer Younis, the Director of Industry, Trade and Supply of Zarqa, Eng. Hashim Al-Shayyab, members of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, the second vice-president of the chamber, Imad Abu Al-Bandura, the secretary Fayez Iskaka, the deputy treasurer, Eng. Bassem Al-Kilani, the general manager of the chamber, Lara Al-Shishani, and a number Members of the Advisory Board and members of the Chamber from various commercial sectors.
